Leasing & Hire Purchase

We offer the financing options leasing and hire purchase exclusively to businesses, commercial operators and self-employed persons for selected products with a net order value of €1,000 or more. Below you will find the key differences between the two forms of financing.

Leasing

With leasing, the product is made available to the lessee for use in return for regular lease payments. The asset is recognized on the lessor’s balance sheet. Lease payments can generally be claimed as operating expenses for tax purposes. These are gross payments, and VAT is charged throughout the entire term. Once the agreed minimum lease term has expired, purchasing the product is generally possible.

Hire purchase

In economic terms, hire purchase is equivalent to an installment purchase. The product is capitalized on the hire purchaser’s balance sheet and depreciated in accordance with the official depreciation tables. Ownership of the asset transfers to the hire purchaser upon payment of the final hire-purchase installment. VAT must be paid in full with the first hire-purchase installment (a pass-through item).

Shipping & Delivery

We ship our goods either via parcel service or via a freight forwarding company, depending on their size, weight and characteristics. We select the shipping method at our reasonable discretion.

The delivery times stated in the online shop are non-binding estimates, unless a binding delivery date has been expressly agreed in writing. They are based on the information available from our manufacturers, suppliers and logistics partners at the time the order is placed.

A large proportion of the products offered are shipped directly from the manufacturer or from external central warehouses (direct shipment). As a result, delivery times may differ from the stated guidelines. In particular, material shortages, production delays, supply bottlenecks, force majeure or other circumstances for which we are not responsible may result in delivery delays.

Disclaimer:

We accept no liability for delivery delays resulting from circumstances beyond our control. This applies in particular to delays caused by manufacturers, upstream suppliers, transport companies or other third parties. Liability for any resulting damages, in particular indirect damages, consequential damages or loss of profit, is excluded to the extent permitted by law.

Partial deliveries are permitted insofar as they are reasonable for the customer. They will not result in additional shipping costs unless otherwise agreed.

The exact delivery time for an item can be provided individually on request, either before or after placing the order.

Please contact us by telephone at +49 (0)2551 5030 or by email at shipping@strahltechnik-express.de.

If significant delivery delays occur, we will inform the customer without undue delay. Mandatory statutory rights of the customer remain unaffected.

Contracor Performer 400 – Durable Tungsten Carbide Blast Nozzle

The Contracor Performer 400 is a reliable Venturi blast nozzle designed for regular blasting work with medium to high material consumption. Equipped with a tungsten carbide nozzle insert (TC), it combines good service life, solid handling and an attractive price-performance ratio – ideal for trades, maintenance and industrial applications.

Solid Performance with High Cost Efficiency

The Performer 400’s nozzle insert is made of wear-resistant tungsten carbide, a proven material for blast nozzles used in medium-duty applications. It offers a service life of up to 400 operating hours, depending on the abrasive and application. This makes the Performer 400 the perfect choice for users who blast regularly but do not require the maximum service life of boron carbide or silicon carbide.

The robust polyurethane jacket provides additional protection against impacts and ensures comfortable handling.

Venturi Technology for Efficient Blasting Results

Thanks to its Venturi profile, the nozzle produces even abrasive distribution and a higher impact velocity, resulting in more effective cleaning performance while reducing abrasive consumption.

Technical Features at a Glance:

Nozzle insert: Tungsten carbide (TC)
Jacket: Polyurethane (impact-resistant, non-slip)
Flow profile: Venturi
Inlet opening: 32 mm
Thread connection: 50 mm aluminum coarse thread

Available Sizes & Lengths:

  • 5.0 mm x 130 mm
  • 6.5 mm x 130 mm
  • 8.0 mm x 150 mm
  • 9.5 mm x 170 mm
  • 11.0 mm x 200 mm
  • 12.5 mm x 210 mm

➔ Note: Recommended compressor sizes depending on nozzle diameter:
To ensure optimal blasting performance, we recommend the following minimum air volumes:

  • 5.0 mm nozzle → from approx. 1.3 m³/min at 7 bar
  • 6.5 mm nozzle → from approx. 2.3 m³/min at 7 bar
  • 8.0 mm nozzle → from approx. 3.9 m³/min at 7 bar
  • 9.5 mm nozzle → from approx. 5.6 m³/min at 7 bar
  • 11.0 mm nozzle → from approx. 6.8 m³/min at 7 bar
  • 12.5 mm nozzle → from approx. 9.6 m³/min at 7 bar

💡 Tip:
Depending on the application and blast hose length, a slightly more powerful compressor may be advisable to compensate for pressure losses.

💡 Tip:
Choose a compressor whose effective air delivery is approximately 30–50 % above the required value to prevent pressure drops during continuous operation and compensate for nozzle wear.

Applications:
  • Metalworking & steel construction
