Leasing & Hire Purchase

We offer the financing options leasing and hire purchase exclusively to businesses, commercial operators and self-employed persons for selected products with a net order value of €1,000 or more. Below you will find the key differences between the two forms of financing.

Leasing

With leasing, the product is made available to the lessee for use in return for regular lease payments. The asset is recognized on the lessor’s balance sheet. Lease payments can generally be claimed as operating expenses for tax purposes. These are gross payments, and VAT is charged throughout the entire term. Once the agreed minimum lease term has expired, purchasing the product is generally possible.

Hire purchase

In economic terms, hire purchase is equivalent to an installment purchase. The product is capitalized on the hire purchaser’s balance sheet and depreciated in accordance with the official depreciation tables. Ownership of the asset transfers to the hire purchaser upon payment of the final hire-purchase installment. VAT must be paid in full with the first hire-purchase installment (a pass-through item).

Shipping & Delivery

We ship our goods either via parcel service or via a freight forwarding company, depending on their size, weight and characteristics. We select the shipping method at our reasonable discretion.

The delivery times stated in the online shop are non-binding estimates, unless a binding delivery date has been expressly agreed in writing. They are based on the information available from our manufacturers, suppliers and logistics partners at the time the order is placed.

A large proportion of the products offered are shipped directly from the manufacturer or from external central warehouses (direct shipment). As a result, delivery times may differ from the stated guidelines. In particular, material shortages, production delays, supply bottlenecks, force majeure or other circumstances for which we are not responsible may result in delivery delays.

Disclaimer:

We accept no liability for delivery delays resulting from circumstances beyond our control. This applies in particular to delays caused by manufacturers, upstream suppliers, transport companies or other third parties. Liability for any resulting damages, in particular indirect damages, consequential damages or loss of profit, is excluded to the extent permitted by law.

Partial deliveries are permitted insofar as they are reasonable for the customer. They will not result in additional shipping costs unless otherwise agreed.

The exact delivery time for an item can be provided individually on request, either before or after placing the order.

Please contact us by telephone at +49 (0)2551 5030 or by email at shipping@strahltechnik-express.de.

If significant delivery delays occur, we will inform the customer without undue delay. Mandatory statutory rights of the customer remain unaffected.

Comprag ACT – Compact activated carbon adsorber for high-purity compressed air

The Comprag ACT series reliably adsorbs oil aerosols, oil vapors, odors, and aromas from pre-dried compressed air (residual oil content ≤ 0.003 mg/m³). In combination with a prefilter (e.g., an ADM dryer), purity class 0–1 according to ISO 8573‑1 is achieved – ideal for sensitive applications.

📐 ACT Activated Carbon Adsorber – Size Finder

Here we offer you a practical calculator for sizing an ACT activated carbon adsorber. Select the desired rated flow rate and operating conditions. The calculator automatically accounts for 15% purge air and recommends the appropriate ACT model.

Formula: Prated, required = Prated (selected) × F₁ × F₂ × 1.15 (F₁ = pressure factor, F₂ = inlet temperature factor)

🌡️ Typical outlet temperatures (oil-lubricated screw compressor)
(as an aid for calculating the inlet temperature)

• Compressor block > 150 °C (without cooling), approx. 80–100 °C after the oil separator
• Aftercooler (compressed air outlet): usually +10–15 °C above ambient → typically ≈ 35–40 °C at 25 °C ambient

Result:
Note: The 15 % purge air has already been taken into account in the calculation.

⚙️ Features

❓ FAQ – Frequently asked questions
  • How clean is the air after the ACT?
    Residual oil content ≤ 0,003 mg/m³ – ISO 8573‑1 Class 0–1.
  • What does the ROCI indicator show?
It changes when oil adsorption saturates the carbon – time for a replacement.
  • Is pre-drying necessary?
Yes – recommended use after an ADM/ADX dryer at a pressure dew point of ≤ 3 °C.
  • How long does the activated carbon last?
Service life of several thousand hours depending on the load; filter changes are recommended accordingly.
