With the right configuration options, an extraction table can be tailored during the planning stage to the workpiece, process, extraction technology and operational requirements. Depending on the table system, factors such as table size, extraction method, connection position, side and rear panels, work surface, lighting, fan or filter connection and control functions can be taken into account.

A well-thought-out configuration prevents the table from fitting mechanically later on while airflow performance, ergonomics or the workflow fail to work together optimally. Coordinating the extraction area, required air volume flow and available extraction capacity is particularly important. The position of the connections and the routing of the ductwork also affect pressure loss and the installation situation.

When making a selection, the workpiece size, dust or fume generation, working method and existing filtration technology should therefore be considered together. This allows the workstation to be technically planned correctly from the outset and helps avoid later modifications or unnecessary additional components.
