Leasing & Hire Purchase
Leasing & Hire Purchase
We offer the financing options leasing and hire purchase exclusively to businesses, commercial operators and self-employed persons for selected products with a net order value of €1,000 or more. Below you will find the key differences between the two forms of financing.
Leasing
With leasing, the product is made available to the lessee for use in return for regular lease payments. The asset is recognized on the lessor’s balance sheet. Lease payments can generally be claimed as operating expenses for tax purposes. These are gross payments, and VAT is charged throughout the entire term. Once the agreed minimum lease term has expired, purchasing the product is generally possible.
Hire purchase
In economic terms, hire purchase is equivalent to an installment purchase. The product is capitalized on the hire purchaser’s balance sheet and depreciated in accordance with the official depreciation tables. Ownership of the asset transfers to the hire purchaser upon payment of the final hire-purchase installment. VAT must be paid in full with the first hire-purchase installment (a pass-through item).

Contracor EDUCT-O-MATIC – portable vacuum blasting unit with a closed abrasive circuit
The Contracor EDUCT-O-MATIC is a compact, portable vacuum blasting unit for low-dust blasting of small surfaces, edges, corners and local repair areas. The unit combines vacuum blasting and abrasive recovery in one tool: reusable abrasive is continuously returned to the integrated container during operation, while dust, spent abrasive and loosened contaminants are collected in the dust bag.
The freely rotating blast head enables work upwards, downwards and sideways without having to rotate the main body of the unit. Various rubber attachments and brushes ensure that the blasting area is sealed as tightly as possible against the surface, allowing the unit to adapt to flat surfaces, edges, angles and other workpiece geometries.
Your benefits at a glance

| Article number | 10112800 |
| Compressed-air consumption | 2.5 m³/min at approx. 6.1 bar |
| Maximum working pressure | 7 bar |
| Compressed-air connection | KIG 1/2" claw coupling |
| Recommended air hose size | 3/4" (19 mm), alternatively 1/2" (13 mm) |
| Blast nozzle | 9 mm, tungsten carbide |
| Working width | approx. 30 mm, depending on the attachment used |
Suitable abrasives
| Abrasive | Recommended grit size | Note |
|---|---|---|
| Steel or iron shot | up to approx. 0.3 mm | Particularly recommended by the manufacturer |
| Corundum | up to approx. 0.8 mm according to the catalog | Increased wear possible |
| General abrasives | approx. 0.15–0.40 mm according to the operating instructions | Dry, clean and uniformly graded |
For good recovery, low dust generation and reduced equipment wear, Contracor recommends steel or iron shot. Very brittle abrasives break down faster and increase the amount of dust. Highly abrasive media such as corundum or silicon carbide can accelerate wear.
How the closed-loop system works
When the operating lever is fully pressed, the compressed air is divided into two streams. The first air stream generates negative pressure in the blast head, draws abrasive from the integrated container and accelerates the air-abrasive mixture through the nozzle onto the surface.
The second air stream simultaneously generates the suction effect. Abrasive, dust and detached contaminants are suctioned back into the main body through the attachment, which rests tightly on the surface. The components are separated by cyclone action: reusable abrasive falls through a sieve back into the container, while dust and light residues enter the dust bag.
Two-stage operating lever
✔ Lever fully pressed: blasting and suction simultaneously
✔ After blasting, hold the lever in the suction position for another 2–3 seconds
✔ Residual abrasive and dust are suctioned back out of the blast head
Attachments, adapters and brushes
The EDUCT-O-MATIC can be adapted to the geometry of the workpiece using different attachments. The operating instructions list the following accessories, among others:
✔ Master adapter
✔ Serrated attachment
✔ Edge attachment
✔ Angled attachment
✔ Flat-lip attachment
✔ Closed blanking attachment
✔ Brush adapter
✔ Round brush
✔ Angled brush
For reliable recovery, the attachment must rest fully and tightly on the surface during blasting.
Typical areas of application
✔ Cleaning weld seams
✔ Preparing small repair areas

Maintenance and safety
✔ Check the sieve, abrasive channels and hoses for blockages
✔ Check the tungsten-carbide blast nozzle regularly for wear
✔ Check attachments and brushes for damage and sealing effectiveness
✔ Never blast without a tightly sealed adapter element
✔ Never look into the blast nozzle while the compressed air is connected
✔ Shut off the compressed-air supply and depressurise the system before carrying out maintenance work
✔ Wear suitable safety glasses, respiratory protection, hearing protection and protective clothing
FAQ – frequently asked questions
Does the device operate completely dust-free?
The closed reverse-extraction system significantly reduces escaping dust and loose abrasive. This requires the attachment used to form a tight seal against the surface.
How much compressed air is required?
The manufacturer specifies approximately 2.5 m³/min at around 6.1 bar.
Which abrasives are particularly suitable?
Contracor recommends steel or iron shot. These abrasives can be recovered efficiently and produce fewer fines than very brittle media.
Why does the lever have two stages?
The first stage activates only the extraction. When fully pressed, blasting and reverse extraction are activated simultaneously.
Which attachments are included in the delivery?
The Contracor catalogue lists six rubber attachments as well as a dust bag. Additional adapters and brushes are available as accessories or spare parts.
