Leasing & Hire Purchase

We offer the financing options leasing and hire purchase exclusively to businesses, commercial operators and self-employed persons for selected products with a net order value of €1,000 or more. Below you will find the key differences between the two forms of financing.

Leasing

With leasing, the product is made available to the lessee for use in return for regular lease payments. The asset is recognized on the lessor’s balance sheet. Lease payments can generally be claimed as operating expenses for tax purposes. These are gross payments, and VAT is charged throughout the entire term. Once the agreed minimum lease term has expired, purchasing the product is generally possible.

Hire purchase

In economic terms, hire purchase is equivalent to an installment purchase. The product is capitalized on the hire purchaser’s balance sheet and depreciated in accordance with the official depreciation tables. Ownership of the asset transfers to the hire purchaser upon payment of the final hire-purchase installment. VAT must be paid in full with the first hire-purchase installment (a pass-through item).

Shipping & Delivery

We ship our goods either via parcel service or via a freight forwarding company, depending on their size, weight and characteristics. We select the shipping method at our reasonable discretion.

The delivery times stated in the online shop are non-binding estimates, unless a binding delivery date has been expressly agreed in writing. They are based on the information available from our manufacturers, suppliers and logistics partners at the time the order is placed.

A large proportion of the products offered are shipped directly from the manufacturer or from external central warehouses (direct shipment). As a result, delivery times may differ from the stated guidelines. In particular, material shortages, production delays, supply bottlenecks, force majeure or other circumstances for which we are not responsible may result in delivery delays.

Disclaimer:

We accept no liability for delivery delays resulting from circumstances beyond our control. This applies in particular to delays caused by manufacturers, upstream suppliers, transport companies or other third parties. Liability for any resulting damages, in particular indirect damages, consequential damages or loss of profit, is excluded to the extent permitted by law.

Partial deliveries are permitted insofar as they are reasonable for the customer. They will not result in additional shipping costs unless otherwise agreed.

The exact delivery time for an item can be provided individually on request, either before or after placing the order.

Please contact us by telephone at +49 (0)2551 5030 or by email at shipping@strahltechnik-express.de.

If significant delivery delays occur, we will inform the customer without undue delay. Mandatory statutory rights of the customer remain unaffected.

Contracor SGV Abrasive Blasting Media Metering Valve – Robust, Precise & Easy to Maintain for Heavy Abrasives

The Contracor SGV (Sand Grit Valve) is an exceptionally robust metering valve for the precise control of heavy, aggressive blasting media such as steel shot (round or angular), corundum, aluminium oxide or silicon carbide.
The innovative design ensures that the blasting media is guided exclusively through a replaceable rubber insert – the valve body itself remains free from abrasive wear.
This reduces wear, lowers maintenance costs and enables reliable blasting media regulation even under the harshest operating conditions.

Features:
    • Metering valve for heavy, sharp-edged blasting media: Ideal for aggressive media with high abrasion potential.
    • Blasting media contact only in the rubber hose: The actual valve body remains wear-free – ensuring a longer service life and easier maintenance.
    • Simple rubber tube replacement: The metering tube can be replaced quickly and with minimal use of tools when worn.
    • Precise metering through mechanical constriction: The metering screw precisely constricts the rubber insert and thereby regulates the blasting media flow.

    Available in two versions
    • SGV without mounting flanges
    • SGV with 2 pre-assembled mounting flanges (including screws, washers and nuts)

    Technical details:

Valve type: Mechanical blasting media metering valve with rubber tube guidance
    Connection thread:

    • Flange on SGV without mounting flanges
    • 1¼" male thread (both sides) on SGV with 2 pre-assembled mounting flanges

Adjustment mechanism: Metering screw with handle
Blasting media contact: Only in the rubber tube – no contact with the valve body
    Suitable blasting media (among others):

    • Steel shot (round/angular)
    • Corundum
    • Aluminium oxide
    • Silicon carbide

    Rubber insert: Replaceable, wear-resistant
    Temperature range: –10 °C to +60 °C
    Available versions:

    • SGV without flanges
    • SGV with 2 pre-assembled mounting flanges

    Advantages:
    • Ideal for aggressive, coarse-grained media: Designed for use in industry, shipbuilding, steel construction or heavy mechanical engineering.
    • Reduced wear through an intelligent internal design: Only the rubber tube is subjected to wear – it is cost-effective and quick to replace.
    • Reliable metering even at high throughput: The mechanical metering screw enables precise adjustment of the blasting media quantity.
    • Two connection options for maximum flexibility: Ready for connection with flanges or supplied as a bare version for integration into existing systems.

✅ The Contracor SGV metering valve is the well-designed solution for anyone working with highly abrasive blasting media and valuing long service life, metering accuracy and easy maintenance – especially in demanding industrial environments.
