DFF-P compressed-air filter, coarse filtration, with filter element, max. 16 bar operating pressure, flow rate from 1.2 to 36.0 m³/min

The Comprag DFF-P dust filter is a robust compressed-air filter for the coarse filtration of dry compressed air and serves as the first purification stage in compressed-air treatment. With a filtration rating of 5 µm, it reliably removes coarse particles and protects downstream coalescing filters, activated carbon filters, and dryers from wear. Thanks to its low pressure drop, integrated filter element, and operating pressure of up to 16 bar, the DFF-P is ideal as a pre-filter for workshop and industrial systems with flow rates from 1.2 to 36.0 m³/min.

Leasing & Hire Purchase

We offer the financing options leasing and hire purchase exclusively to businesses, commercial operators and self-employed persons for selected products with a net order value of €1,000 or more. Below you will find the key differences between the two forms of financing.

Leasing

With leasing, the product is made available to the lessee for use in return for regular lease payments. The asset is recognized on the lessor’s balance sheet. Lease payments can generally be claimed as operating expenses for tax purposes. These are gross payments, and VAT is charged throughout the entire term. Once the agreed minimum lease term has expired, purchasing the product is generally possible.

Hire purchase

In economic terms, hire purchase is equivalent to an installment purchase. The product is capitalized on the hire purchaser’s balance sheet and depreciated in accordance with the official depreciation tables. Ownership of the asset transfers to the hire purchaser upon payment of the final hire-purchase installment. VAT must be paid in full with the first hire-purchase installment (a pass-through item).

Shipping & Delivery

We ship our goods either via parcel service or via a freight forwarding company, depending on their size, weight and characteristics. We select the shipping method at our reasonable discretion.

The delivery times stated in the online shop are non-binding estimates, unless a binding delivery date has been expressly agreed in writing. They are based on the information available from our manufacturers, suppliers and logistics partners at the time the order is placed.

A large proportion of the products offered are shipped directly from the manufacturer or from external central warehouses (direct shipment). As a result, delivery times may differ from the stated guidelines. In particular, material shortages, production delays, supply bottlenecks, force majeure or other circumstances for which we are not responsible may result in delivery delays.

Disclaimer:

We accept no liability for delivery delays resulting from circumstances beyond our control. This applies in particular to delays caused by manufacturers, upstream suppliers, transport companies or other third parties. Liability for any resulting damages, in particular indirect damages, consequential damages or loss of profit, is excluded to the extent permitted by law.

Partial deliveries are permitted insofar as they are reasonable for the customer. They will not result in additional shipping costs unless otherwise agreed.

The exact delivery time for an item can be provided individually on request, either before or after placing the order.

Please contact us by telephone at +49 (0)2551 5030 or by email at shipping@strahltechnik-express.de.

If significant delivery delays occur, we will inform the customer without undue delay. Mandatory statutory rights of the customer remain unaffected.

Comprag DFF-P – Dust filter for coarse filtration of dry compressed air

📐 Flow rate adjustment – DFF compressed-air filters

This calculator is used to Adjustment of the flow rate for DFF compressed-air filters different operating pressures.

The specified nominal flow rates refer to operating pressure of 7 bar. For other pressures, the flow rate is calculated using a Correction factor adjusted.

Formula: Qactual = Q7 bar × Fp

Result:
Applies to all DFF filter types (e.g. fine, activated-carbon, or prefilters).

❓ FAQ – Frequently Asked Questions
  • How often does the filter element need to be replaced?
Every 12 months or when a differential pressure of 350 mbar is reached.
  • Is the filter ready for immediate use?
Yes – it is supplied including a filter element and drain valve.
  • Can the filter be combined with other DFF filter stages?
Yes, the DFF series has a modular design and can be combined with M, S, and A filter stages.
  • What does filtration grade P mean?
The filter removes particles ≥ 5 µm – ideal for coarse filtration.
  • Is suitable accessories available?
Yes, e.g. wall-mounting kits, inline installation sets, and replacement filter elements.
