Leasing & Hire Purchase

We offer exclusively for entrepreneurs, traders, and self-employed individuals financing options leasing and hire purchase for selected products starting from a net goods value of €1,000. Below you will find the essential differences between both financing forms.

Leasing

In leasing, the product is made available to the lessee for use against payment of regular leasing installments. The accounting is done by the lessor. The leasing installments can usually be claimed as business expenses for tax purposes. These are gross installments, and value-added tax is incurred throughout the entire term. After the agreed basic rental period, acquisition of the product by purchase is generally possible.

Hire Purchase

Hire purchase is economically equivalent to a installment purchase. The product is activated in the balance sheet of the hire purchaser and depreciated according to the official depreciation tables. Upon payment of the last hire purchase installment, ownership of the object transfers to the hire purchaser. The value-added tax must be paid in full with the first hire purchase installment (pass-through item).

Shipping & Delivery

The shipping of our goods depends on size, weight, and nature, either via parcel service or via freight forwarding. The choice of shipping method is made by us at our discretion.

The delivery times indicated in the online shop are non-binding estimates, unless a binding delivery date has been expressly confirmed in writing. They are based on the information available from our manufacturers, suppliers, and logistics partners at the time of the order.

A large part of the products offered is shipped directly from the manufacturer or from external central warehouses (direct shipping). As a result, delivery times may differ from the specified benchmarks. In particular, material shortages, production delays, delivery bottlenecks, force majeure, or other circumstances beyond our control may lead to delivery delays.

Disclaimer:

We accept no liability for delivery delays caused by circumstances that are outside our control. This particularly applies to delays caused by manufacturers, suppliers, transport companies, or other third parties. Liability for any resulting damages, especially for indirect damages, consequential damages, or lost profits, is excluded to the extent permitted by law.

Partial deliveries are permissible as long as they are reasonable for the customer. No additional shipping costs will be incurred unless otherwise agreed.

The exact delivery time of an item can be communicated individually upon request before or after the order.

Please contact us by phone at +49 (0)2551 5030 or by email at shipping@strahltechnik-express.de.

If there are significant delivery delays, we will inform the customer immediately. Mandatory legal rights of the customer remain unaffected.

Comprag ACT – Compact activated carbon adsorber for high-purity compressed air

The ACT series from Comprag reliably adsorbs oil aerosols, oil vapors, odor substances, and flavors from pre-dried compressed air (residual oil content ≤ 0.003 mg/m³). In combination with a pre-filter (e.g., ADM dryer), purity class 0–1 according to ISO 8573‑1 is achieved – ideal for sensitive applications.

📐 ACT Activated Carbon Adsorber – Size Finder

Here we offer you a practical calculator for the dimensioning of an ACT activated carbon adsorber. Select the desired rated flow rate and the operating conditions. The calculator automatically takes into account 15% purge air and recommends the appropriate ACT model.

Formula: Prated, required = Prated (selected) × F₁ × F₂ × 1.15 (F₁ = pressure factor, F₂ = inlet temperature factor)

🌡️ Typical outlet temperatures (oil-lubricated screw compressor)
(as a guide for calculating the inlet temperature)

• Compressor block > 150 °C (without cooling), after oil separator approx. 80–100 °C
• After aftercooler (compressed air outlet): usually +10–15 °C above ambient → at 25 °C ambient typically ≈ 35–40 °C

Result:
Note: The 15% purge air is already included in the calculation.

⚙️ Equipment
  • Aluminum housing with ROCI oil testing indicator
  • Afterfilter from the DFF-P series integrated
  • Activated carbon pellets with high adsorption performance
  • Floor mounting + wall bracket for ACT 05–60
  • Robust, low-maintenance, and durable

🏭 Typical application areas
  • Food and pharmaceutical industry
  • Electronics manufacturing & laboratory systems

  • Painting, coating & sandblasting systems
  • High-purity compressed air systems with residual oil flow

❓ FAQ – Frequently Asked Questions
  • How clean is the air after the ACT?
    Residual oil content ≤ 0.003 mg/m³ – ISO 8573-1 Class 0-1.
  • What does the ROCI indicator show?
It changes when oil adsorption saturates the carbon – time to change.
  • Is pre-drying necessary?
Yes – recommended use after an ADM/ADX dryer at dew point ≤ 3 °C.
  • How long does the activated carbon last?
Operating time depending on load several thousand hours, corresponding filter changes recommended.
