Leasing & Hire Purchase

We offer exclusively for entrepreneurs, traders, and self-employed individuals financing options leasing and hire purchase for selected products starting from a net goods value of €1,000. Below you will find the essential differences between both financing forms.

Leasing

In leasing, the product is made available to the lessee for use against payment of regular leasing installments. The accounting is done by the lessor. The leasing installments can usually be claimed as business expenses for tax purposes. These are gross installments, and value-added tax is incurred throughout the entire term. After the agreed basic rental period, acquisition of the product by purchase is generally possible.

Hire Purchase

Hire purchase is economically equivalent to a installment purchase. The product is activated in the balance sheet of the hire purchaser and depreciated according to the official depreciation tables. Upon payment of the last hire purchase installment, ownership of the object transfers to the hire purchaser. The value-added tax must be paid in full with the first hire purchase installment (pass-through item).

Shipping & Delivery

The shipping of our goods depends on size, weight, and nature, either via parcel service or via freight forwarding. The choice of shipping method is made by us at our discretion.

The delivery times indicated in the online shop are non-binding estimates, unless a binding delivery date has been expressly confirmed in writing. They are based on the information available from our manufacturers, suppliers, and logistics partners at the time of the order.

A large part of the products offered is shipped directly from the manufacturer or from external central warehouses (direct shipping). As a result, delivery times may differ from the specified benchmarks. In particular, material shortages, production delays, delivery bottlenecks, force majeure, or other circumstances beyond our control may lead to delivery delays.

Disclaimer:

We accept no liability for delivery delays caused by circumstances that are outside our control. This particularly applies to delays caused by manufacturers, suppliers, transport companies, or other third parties. Liability for any resulting damages, especially for indirect damages, consequential damages, or lost profits, is excluded to the extent permitted by law.

Partial deliveries are permissible as long as they are reasonable for the customer. No additional shipping costs will be incurred unless otherwise agreed.

The exact delivery time of an item can be communicated individually upon request before or after the order.

Please contact us by phone at +49 (0)2551 5030 or by email at shipping@strahltechnik-express.de.

If there are significant delivery delays, we will inform the customer immediately. Mandatory legal rights of the customer remain unaffected.

Contracor RTC – Venturi sandblasting nozzle made of tungsten carbide with rubber outer shell

The Contracor RTC is a robust, proven Venturi sandblasting nozzle for professional use. Equipped with a durable tungsten carbide insert and a protective rubber outer shell, it impresses with a balanced combination of durability, jet performance, and cost-effectiveness – perfect for daily use with mineral blasting media.

Optimized performance thanks to Venturi geometry

The classic Venturi shape ensures efficient acceleration of the blasting media while maintaining a uniform jet pattern. This improves the removal performance and reduces the consumption of blasting media – an advantage for large-scale or permanent applications.

Venturi jet profile Contracor RTC

The tungsten carbide core offers a very good service life and is ideally suited for abrasive blasting media such as corundum, glass beads, or slag. The impact-resistant rubber outer shell reliably protects the nozzle in tough working conditions and ensures safe handling.

Technical data

Nozzle insert: Tungsten carbide (TC)
Outer material: Rubber (shock-absorbing & non-slip)
Flow profile: Venturi
Inlet opening: 32 mm
Connection thread: 50 mm coarse thread, rubber

Available nozzle diameters & lengths:

  • 6.5 mm × 130 mm
  • 8.0 mm × 150 mm
  • 9.5 mm × 170 mm
  • 11.0 mm × 200 mm
  • 12.5 mm × 210 mm

📐 Calculate air requirement for sandblasting nozzle RTC

Select nozzle size (RTC) and operating pressure (bar). The calculator shows the required air flow rate (m³/min / L/min). Optionally, a compressed air reserve (+30 %, +50 %, +80 %) for nozzle wear can be considered.

ℹ️ Note on reserve / nozzle wear
Attention! The specified air requirement applies only to new sandblasting nozzles. As wear increases, so does the compressed air demand of the nozzle – up to 70 – 80 % more than in new condition!
We therefore recommend an air reserve of at least 50 %.

Maximum recommended blasting media grain size:

Comparison of nozzle materials
TC SiC B4C
B4C (Boron carbide): Very lightweight with the longest service life. Ideal for aggressive blasting media such as corundum, silicon carbide, and steel grit.
SiC (Silicon carbide): Lightweight and wear-resistant. Universally applicable with corundum, silicon carbide, steel grit, slag, and garnet.
TC (Tungsten carbide): Very robust against mechanical stress. Optimal for outdoor use with mineral sands such as slag or garnet.
Estimated service life (Min–Max)
Tungsten carbide (TC)
20 – 500 h
Silicon carbide (SiC)
50 – 800 h
Boron carbide (B4C)
200 – 1600 h
Reference values for comparison. The actual service life depends on blasting pressure, grain size, hardness, and type of blasting media.

Application areas
  • General rust removal and surface cleaning
  • Maintenance work in industry and crafts
  • Metal construction, vehicle detailing, machine maintenance
  • Compatible with common blasting media such as corundum, glass beads, slag

Advantages at a glance
  • Efficient venturi profile – for higher blasting performance and lower consumption
  • Durable tungsten carbide insert – economical & reliable
  • Rubber coating – protects against impacts and facilitates handling
  • Available in five lengths and nozzle diameters
  • Fits all 50 mm coarse thread nozzle holders

Conclusion

The Contracor RTC is a solid venturi nozzle for all common blasting applications. With its durable rubber coating and long-lasting tungsten carbide core, it is the right choice for professional users who value reliability and efficiency.
