ED condensate drain, 1/2", 16 bar, 10 to 30 m³/min

The electronic condensate drains in the Comprag ED series enable fully automatic, loss-free condensate drainage from compressed-air systems without compressed-air loss. A capacitive sensor controls the solenoid valve as required, reliably preventing energy losses caused by escaping compressed air. Thanks to their compact design, integrated strainer, TEST button and 1/2″ threaded connection, the ED valves are ideal for compressors, dryers, filters and compressed-air receivers. Available for flow rates of up to 30 m³/min at operating pressures of up to 16 bar.

Leasing & Hire Purchase

We offer the financing options leasing and hire purchase exclusively to businesses, commercial operators and self-employed persons for selected products with a net order value of €1,000 or more. Below you will find the key differences between the two forms of financing.

Leasing

With leasing, the product is made available to the lessee for use in return for regular lease payments. The asset is recognized on the lessor’s balance sheet. Lease payments can generally be claimed as operating expenses for tax purposes. These are gross payments, and VAT is charged throughout the entire term. Once the agreed minimum lease term has expired, purchasing the product is generally possible.

Hire purchase

In economic terms, hire purchase is equivalent to an installment purchase. The product is capitalized on the hire purchaser’s balance sheet and depreciated in accordance with the official depreciation tables. Ownership of the asset transfers to the hire purchaser upon payment of the final hire-purchase installment. VAT must be paid in full with the first hire-purchase installment (a pass-through item).

Shipping & Delivery

We ship our goods either via parcel service or via a freight forwarding company, depending on their size, weight and characteristics. We select the shipping method at our reasonable discretion.

The delivery times stated in the online shop are non-binding estimates, unless a binding delivery date has been expressly agreed in writing. They are based on the information available from our manufacturers, suppliers and logistics partners at the time the order is placed.

A large proportion of the products offered are shipped directly from the manufacturer or from external central warehouses (direct shipment). As a result, delivery times may differ from the stated guidelines. In particular, material shortages, production delays, supply bottlenecks, force majeure or other circumstances for which we are not responsible may result in delivery delays.

Disclaimer:

We accept no liability for delivery delays resulting from circumstances beyond our control. This applies in particular to delays caused by manufacturers, upstream suppliers, transport companies or other third parties. Liability for any resulting damages, in particular indirect damages, consequential damages or loss of profit, is excluded to the extent permitted by law.

Partial deliveries are permitted insofar as they are reasonable for the customer. They will not result in additional shipping costs unless otherwise agreed.

The exact delivery time for an item can be provided individually on request, either before or after placing the order.

If significant delivery delays occur, we will inform the customer without undue delay. Mandatory statutory rights of the customer remain unaffected.

Comprag ED Series – Electronic Condensate Drain Valve Without Compressed Air Loss

The electronic condensate drain valves in Comprag’s ED Series are the most advanced solution for the reliable, loss-free drainage of condensate in compressed air systems. Using a capacitive sensor, the system detects the fill level precisely and automatically controls the opening of the solenoid valve. This removes condensate efficiently and without pressure loss – ideal for industrial, workshop or sensitive applications.

✅ Highlights
  • Electronic level control with capacitive sensor
  • 100% compressed-air-loss-free condensate drainage
  • TEST button for function testing and manual drainage
  • Integrated strainer for reliable operation
  • Compact design – can be installed horizontally or vertically
  • Easy to maintain thanks to modular valve block

🔧 Technical Data (model-dependent)
  • Threaded connection: G 1/2"
  • Max. operating pressure: 16 bar
  • Rated voltage: 1~ / 230 V / 50 Hz
  • Max. volume flow:
    • ED-10: up to 10.0 m³/min
    • ED-20: up to 20.0 m³/min
    • ED-30: up to 30.0 m³/min
  • Dimensions (D × W × H) & weight:
    • ED-10: 133 × 76 × 147 mm – 0.5 kg
    • ED-20: 140 × 85 × 166 mm – 0.7 kg
    • ED-30: 170 × 99 × 162 mm – 1.2 kg

📌 Application Notes
  • For compressors, dryers, filters or compressed air receivers
  • Ideal for highly fluctuating or irregular condensate formation
  • Prevents energy losses caused by escaping compressed air

❓ FAQ – Frequently Asked Questions About the ED Series
  • How does the ED condensate drain valve work?
A capacitive sensor measures the fill level. The solenoid valve opens automatically only when required – completely without compressed air loss.
  • Can I test the valve myself?
Yes, every model has a TEST button for manual drainage or function testing.
  • Is condensate filtration necessary?
An integrated strainer protects the valve. For condensate containing high levels of oil, an additional oil-water separator is recommended.
  • Which models are available?
The series includes ED-10, ED-20 and ED-30 – matched to the volume flow of your compressed air system.
