Leasing & Hire Purchase

We offer the financing options leasing and hire purchase exclusively to businesses, commercial operators and self-employed persons for selected products with a net order value of €1,000 or more. Below you will find the key differences between the two forms of financing.

Leasing

With leasing, the product is made available to the lessee for use in return for regular lease payments. The asset is recognized on the lessor’s balance sheet. Lease payments can generally be claimed as operating expenses for tax purposes. These are gross payments, and VAT is charged throughout the entire term. Once the agreed minimum lease term has expired, purchasing the product is generally possible.

Hire purchase

In economic terms, hire purchase is equivalent to an installment purchase. The product is capitalized on the hire purchaser’s balance sheet and depreciated in accordance with the official depreciation tables. Ownership of the asset transfers to the hire purchaser upon payment of the final hire-purchase installment. VAT must be paid in full with the first hire-purchase installment (a pass-through item).

Shipping & Delivery

We ship our goods either via parcel service or via a freight forwarding company, depending on their size, weight and characteristics. We select the shipping method at our reasonable discretion.

The delivery times stated in the online shop are non-binding estimates, unless a binding delivery date has been expressly agreed in writing. They are based on the information available from our manufacturers, suppliers and logistics partners at the time the order is placed.

A large proportion of the products offered are shipped directly from the manufacturer or from external central warehouses (direct shipment). As a result, delivery times may differ from the stated guidelines. In particular, material shortages, production delays, supply bottlenecks, force majeure or other circumstances for which we are not responsible may result in delivery delays.

We accept no liability for delivery delays resulting from circumstances beyond our control. This applies in particular to delays caused by manufacturers, upstream suppliers, transport companies or other third parties. Liability for any resulting damages, in particular indirect damages, consequential damages or loss of profit, is excluded to the extent permitted by law.

Partial deliveries are permitted insofar as they are reasonable for the customer. They will not result in additional shipping costs unless otherwise agreed.

The exact delivery time for an item can be provided individually on request, either before or after placing the order.

💡 Particularly low compressed-air requirement

The Champ Neo was specifically designed to require very little compressed air. According to the manufacturer, the device can already be operated with standard commercial compressors at 150–250 l/min; a large industrial compressor is not required for the intended use. This makes the Neo particularly suitable for users who work on the move or want to get started with dry ice cleaning without a large stationary compressed-air system.

ESD-safe for sensitive electronics

Dry Ice Energy explicitly describes the Champ Neo as ESD-safe for electronics. For sensitive electronic components, the manufacturer recommends fine 1.5 mm pellets and low operating pressure. As with all work on electrical or electronic components, the relevant safety and manufacturer specifications for the component being cleaned must be observed.

Important note about blasting nozzles

The blasting nozzles for the other Dry Ice Energy Champ models are not compatible with the Champ Neo. The original replacement nozzle suitable for the Champ Neo is available separately. Use only nozzles and accessories intended for the Champ Neo.
