Leasing & Hire Purchase
We offer the financing options leasing and hire purchase exclusively to businesses, commercial operators and self-employed persons for selected products with a net order value of €1,000 or more. Below you will find the key differences between the two forms of financing.
Leasing
With leasing, the product is made available to the lessee for use in return for regular lease payments. The asset is recognized on the lessor’s balance sheet. Lease payments can generally be claimed as operating expenses for tax purposes. These are gross payments, and VAT is charged throughout the entire term. Once the agreed minimum lease term has expired, purchasing the product is generally possible.
Hire purchase
In economic terms, hire purchase is equivalent to an installment purchase. The product is capitalized on the hire purchaser’s balance sheet and depreciated in accordance with the official depreciation tables. Ownership of the asset transfers to the hire purchaser upon payment of the final hire-purchase installment. VAT must be paid in full with the first hire-purchase installment (a pass-through item).

A large proportion of the products offered are shipped directly from the manufacturer or from external central warehouses (direct shipment). The RPB Safety GX4 is an electronic multi-gas monitor for continuous monitoring of supplied breathing air. It was developed for professional breathing-air systems in areas such as sandblasting, painting, manufacturing and the chemical industry.
The GX4 displays current readings in real time on an illuminated display. In addition, a 103 dB audible alarm warns of critical gas concentrations. Depending on the sensor configuration, carbon monoxide, oxygen and hydrogen sulfide can be monitored.

Remote access and documentation
Current readings can be viewed, logs downloaded and air quality reports created via laptop, tablet, smartphone or network. This makes the GX4 particularly suitable for businesses with breathing-air systems subject to documentation requirements.
Sensors and maintenance
The sensor cartridges are pre-calibrated and can be replaced without having to send the device in for extensive servicing. RPB recommends regular functional and calibration checks. The sensors have a limited service life and must be replaced once it expires.
The GX4 does not replace a breathing-air filter. It monitors gas quality, while systems such as the RPB Radex remove moisture, odors and particles.
