Leasing & Hire Purchase

We offer the financing options leasing and hire purchase exclusively to businesses, commercial operators and self-employed persons for selected products with a net order value of €1,000 or more. Below you will find the key differences between the two forms of financing.

Leasing

With leasing, the product is made available to the lessee for use in return for regular lease payments. The asset is recognized on the lessor’s balance sheet. Lease payments can generally be claimed as operating expenses for tax purposes. These are gross payments, and VAT is charged throughout the entire term. Once the agreed minimum lease term has expired, purchasing the product is generally possible.

Hire purchase

In economic terms, hire purchase is equivalent to an installment purchase. The product is capitalized on the hire purchaser’s balance sheet and depreciated in accordance with the official depreciation tables. Ownership of the asset transfers to the hire purchaser upon payment of the final hire-purchase installment. VAT must be paid in full with the first hire-purchase installment (a pass-through item).

Shipping & Delivery

We ship our goods either via parcel service or via a freight forwarding company, depending on their size, weight and characteristics. We select the shipping method at our reasonable discretion.

The delivery times stated in the online shop are non-binding estimates, unless a binding delivery date has been expressly agreed in writing. They are based on the information available from our manufacturers, suppliers and logistics partners at the time the order is placed.

A large proportion of the products offered are shipped directly from the manufacturer or from external central warehouses (direct shipment). As a result, delivery times may differ from the stated guidelines. In particular, material shortages, production delays, supply bottlenecks, force majeure or other circumstances for which we are not responsible may result in delivery delays.

Disclaimer:

We accept no liability for delivery delays resulting from circumstances beyond our control. This applies in particular to delays caused by manufacturers, upstream suppliers, transport companies or other third parties. Liability for any resulting damages, in particular indirect damages, consequential damages or loss of profit, is excluded to the extent permitted by law.

Partial deliveries are permitted insofar as they are reasonable for the customer. They will not result in additional shipping costs unless otherwise agreed.

The exact delivery time for an item can be provided individually on request, either before or after placing the order.

If significant delivery delays occur, we will inform the customer without undue delay. Mandatory statutory rights of the customer remain unaffected.

NovaBlast NBSC-18 – compact pressure blast pot for mobile and localized blasting jobs

The NovaBlast NBSC-18 is a professional pressure blast unit with an 18-liter tank capacity. It was developed for short, mobile and precise blasting jobs and is particularly suitable for workshops, repair shops, vehicle restoration, metalworking, maintenance and smaller construction-site applications.

Thanks to its compact design, the unit is easier to transport and can also be used in confined areas. The 18-liter abrasive tank is designed for short work intervals and frequently changing locations. Compared with larger blast pots, the NBSC-18 can be set up more quickly, is easier to move and requires less abrasive to fill.

The pressure vessel is designed for a system pressure of 5 to 12 bar. According to the manufacturer's manual, the permissible compressed air and ambient temperature is between 5 and 50 °C. With a tank diameter of 258 mm, a height of 781 mm and a weight of 40 kg, the NBSC-18 is the most compact model in the NovaBlast NBSC series.

How a pressure blasting unit works

In pressure blasting, the abrasive media is pressurized inside the closed vessel. It passes through the metering valve into the compressed-air stream and is transported through the blast hose to the nozzle. Compared with injector blasting equipment, this process enables significantly higher blasting performance and more efficient material transport.

Selecting the right compressor and nozzle size

Air requirements depend not on the tank volume but primarily on the nozzle diameter and operating pressure. For stable operation, the compressor must continuously supply the required air volume at operating pressure. NovaBlast recommends a compressed-air supply line with an internal diameter of at least 3/4 inch for optimal power transmission.

Suitable abrasive media

✔ Garnet
✔ Aluminum silicate
✔ Corundum
✔ Glass beads
✔ Slag abrasive media
✔ Steel grit and steel shot with suitable valve and hose configurations
✔ Other dry, free-flowing, approved abrasive media
📌 Important:
The abrasive media used must be dry, screened, and suitable for blasting work. Damp or clumped material can block the valve, hose, and nozzle.

Pneumatic remote control

The pneumatic remote control enables the blasting process to be started and stopped directly from the operator's position. Before each use, the remote control, dead-man's handle, hoses, and couplings must be checked for proper operation.

Maintenance and care

✔ Protect the vessel and lines from moisture
✔ Empty the moisture separator regularly
✔ Check the metering valve for wear and unobstructed material flow
✔ Test the remote control and dead-man function before starting work
✔ Check the muffler for blockages
✔ Check the blast hose, couplings, and nozzle holder
✔ Measure the nozzle size regularly
✔ Have the pressure vessel inspected in accordance with legal requirements

FAQ – frequently asked questions

What are the dimensions and weight of the NBSC-18?
The unit measures 258 mm in diameter and 781 mm in height. It weighs 40 kg.

What pressure range is the unit designed for?
The manufacturer specifies a system pressure of at least 5 and a maximum of 12 bar.

Is 18 liters sufficient for professional work?
Yes, for spot work, repairs, and short mobile applications. However, larger surfaces often require more frequent refilling breaks.

Is a compressor included?
No, unless it is explicitly offered as part of a complete set.

Why is dry compressed air important?
Moisture can cause the abrasive media to clump, resulting in uneven dosing or blockages.
