Leasing & Hire Purchase

We offer the financing options leasing and hire purchase exclusively to businesses, commercial operators and self-employed persons for selected products with a net order value of €1,000 or more. Below you will find the key differences between the two forms of financing.

Leasing

With leasing, the product is made available to the lessee for use in return for regular lease payments. The asset is recognized on the lessor’s balance sheet. Lease payments can generally be claimed as operating expenses for tax purposes. These are gross payments, and VAT is charged throughout the entire term. Once the agreed minimum lease term has expired, purchasing the product is generally possible.

Hire purchase

In economic terms, hire purchase is equivalent to an installment purchase. The product is capitalized on the hire purchaser’s balance sheet and depreciated in accordance with the official depreciation tables. Ownership of the asset transfers to the hire purchaser upon payment of the final hire-purchase installment. VAT must be paid in full with the first hire-purchase installment (a pass-through item).

Shipping & Delivery

We ship our goods either via parcel service or via a freight forwarding company, depending on their size, weight and characteristics. We select the shipping method at our reasonable discretion.

The delivery times stated in the online shop are non-binding estimates, unless a binding delivery date has been expressly agreed in writing. They are based on the information available from our manufacturers, suppliers and logistics partners at the time the order is placed.

A large proportion of the products offered are shipped directly from the manufacturer or from external central warehouses (direct shipment). As a result, delivery times may differ from the stated guidelines. In particular, material shortages, production delays, supply bottlenecks, force majeure or other circumstances for which we are not responsible may result in delivery delays.

Disclaimer:

We accept no liability for delivery delays resulting from circumstances beyond our control. This applies in particular to delays caused by manufacturers, upstream suppliers, transport companies or other third parties. Liability for any resulting damages, in particular indirect damages, consequential damages or loss of profit, is excluded to the extent permitted by law.

Partial deliveries are permitted insofar as they are reasonable for the customer. They will not result in additional shipping costs unless otherwise agreed.

The exact delivery time for an item can be provided individually on request, either before or after placing the order.

Please contact us by telephone at +49 (0)2551 5030 or by email at shipping@strahltechnik-express.de.

If significant delivery delays occur, we will inform the customer without undue delay. Mandatory statutory rights of the customer remain unaffected.

Comprag RDX – Reliable refrigerated dryers for dry compressed air

The Comprag RDX series refrigerated dryers are high-quality components for effectively drying compressed air. They reliably reduce humidity to a pressure dew point of max. +3 °C, protecting tools, machines and products from corrosion, water accumulation and loss of quality. The RDX‑04, RDX‑06, RDX‑09, RDX‑12 and RDX‑18 models are ideal for use in workshops, skilled trades and industry with flow rates from 0.4 to 1.8 m³/min.

✅ Highlights
  • Constant dew point of +3 °C for reliable drying
  • High-performance, low-maintenance aluminium heat exchangers
  • Compact design – easy to integrate into existing systems
  • Environmentally friendly refrigerants (R134a or R513a)
  • Very low pressure loss thanks to the integrated coalescing separator
  • Ideal for use with Comprag F-series screw compressors

📐 Adjusting the flow rate to operating conditions

Here we provide you with a practical calculator for adjusting the air flow rate to individual operating conditions.

The rated capacities of our compressed-air dryers are based on standard conditions in accordance with DIN ISO 7183 (7 bar, 35 °C inlet temperature, 25 °C ambient temperature).

Since actual systems often have different values, you can use this tool to quickly and easily determine the correct dryer flow rate. Enter your compressor's air flow rate and the corresponding correction factors (F1, F2, F3) – the calculator will display the required dryer flow rate in m³/min and l/min.

Reference conditions (DIN ISO 7183): 7 bar · 35 °C (inlet) · 25 °C (ambient)
Formula: Flow rate (dryer) = Flow rate (compressor) × F1 × F2 × F3

🌡️ Typical outlet temperatures (oil-lubricated screw compressor)
• Compressor element > 150 °C (without cooling), approx. 80–100 °C after the oil separator
Aftercooler (compressed air outlet): typically +10–15 °C above ambient in practice → at an ambient temperature of 25 °C, typically ≈ 35–40 °C.

❓ FAQ – Frequently asked questions about the RDX series
  • 1. Which refrigerated dryer is suitable for my compressor?
Selection depends on your compressor's flow rate. Example: RDX‑04 for max. 0.4 m³/min, RDX‑18 for max. 1.8 m³/min.
  • 2. What does the hot-gas bypass control do?
It ensures consistent operation under partial load and prevents the evaporator from freezing.
  • 3. How often does the dryer need to be serviced?
A visual inspection is recommended weekly, with a complete service annually – e.g., replacing the condensate drain and cleaning the heat exchanger.
  • 4. Can I connect the dryer directly?
Yes – the RDX models are ready to connect and only require a 230 V power connection.
  • 5. How do I know whether everything is running properly?
The LED indicator displays operating and fault conditions. A colored indicator also shows the current dew point status.
