Leasing & Hire Purchase

We offer the financing options leasing and hire purchase exclusively to businesses, commercial operators and self-employed persons for selected products with a net order value of €1,000 or more. Below you will find the key differences between the two forms of financing.

Leasing

With leasing, the product is made available to the lessee for use in return for regular lease payments. The asset is recognized on the lessor’s balance sheet. Lease payments can generally be claimed as operating expenses for tax purposes. These are gross payments, and VAT is charged throughout the entire term. Once the agreed minimum lease term has expired, purchasing the product is generally possible.

Hire purchase

In economic terms, hire purchase is equivalent to an installment purchase. The product is capitalized on the hire purchaser’s balance sheet and depreciated in accordance with the official depreciation tables. Ownership of the asset transfers to the hire purchaser upon payment of the final hire-purchase installment. VAT must be paid in full with the first hire-purchase installment (a pass-through item).

Shipping & Delivery

We ship our goods either via parcel service or via a freight forwarding company, depending on their size, weight and characteristics. We select the shipping method at our reasonable discretion.

The delivery times stated in the online shop are non-binding estimates, unless a binding delivery date has been expressly agreed in writing. They are based on the information available from our manufacturers, suppliers and logistics partners at the time the order is placed.

A large proportion of the products offered are shipped directly from the manufacturer or from external central warehouses (direct shipment). As a result, delivery times may differ from the stated guidelines. In particular, material shortages, production delays, supply bottlenecks, force majeure or other circumstances for which we are not responsible may result in delivery delays.

Disclaimer:

We accept no liability for delivery delays resulting from circumstances beyond our control. This applies in particular to delays caused by manufacturers, upstream suppliers, transport companies or other third parties. Liability for any resulting damages, in particular indirect damages, consequential damages or loss of profit, is excluded to the extent permitted by law.

Partial deliveries are permitted insofar as they are reasonable for the customer. They will not result in additional shipping costs unless otherwise agreed.

The exact delivery time for an item can be provided individually on request, either before or after placing the order.

If significant delivery delays occur, we will inform the customer without undue delay. Mandatory statutory rights of the customer remain unaffected.

North Vortex breathing-air conditioner – heated or cooled breathing air for blasting helmets

The North Vortex breathing-air conditioner is a personal air conditioner for compressed-air-supplied blasting helmets and respiratory protection systems. Depending on the connection side, it can heat or cool the supplied breathing air, significantly improving wearing comfort in cold or hot working conditions.

The device operates purely mechanically according to the Vortex principle and has no moving internal parts. This makes it robust, low-maintenance and suitable for daily use in blasting halls, workshops, on construction sites and in industrial surface treatment.

Note: Actual compatibility must be checked based on the helmet, connection, breathing-air hose and existing system configuration.

Operating principle

The Vortex air conditioner separates the incoming compressed air into a warm and a cold air stream. Heated air is supplied through the red outlet, while cooled air is supplied through the blue outlet. Depending on the desired function, the corresponding outlet is connected to the breathing-air connection of the blasting helmet.

The airflow can be adjusted using the integrated regulator. The desired temperature effect is achieved after a short operating period. For optimum performance, the compressed-air supply must be adequately sized and free from moisture, oil and harmful contaminants.

Safety and compressed-air quality

The Vortex air-conditioning unit may only be operated with suitable breathing air. Oxygen or oxygen-enriched air must not be used. The compressed air must comply with the requirements of the applicable breathing-air standards and be sufficiently dried.

At temperatures below freezing, moisture in the compressed air can cause icing and interrupt the airflow. The compressed-air treatment system must therefore be adequately sized. If the breathing-air supply is interrupted or insufficient, leave the hazardous area immediately.

The unit does not reduce ambient noise. Suitable hearing protection is required due to the specified noise level.

FAQ – frequently asked questions
