Leasing & Hire Purchase

We offer the financing options leasing and hire purchase exclusively to businesses, commercial operators and self-employed persons for selected products with a net order value of €1,000 or more. Below you will find the key differences between the two forms of financing.

Leasing

With leasing, the product is made available to the lessee for use in return for regular lease payments. The asset is recognized on the lessor’s balance sheet. Lease payments can generally be claimed as operating expenses for tax purposes. These are gross payments, and VAT is charged throughout the entire term. Once the agreed minimum lease term has expired, purchasing the product is generally possible.

Hire purchase

In economic terms, hire purchase is equivalent to an installment purchase. The product is capitalized on the hire purchaser’s balance sheet and depreciated in accordance with the official depreciation tables. Ownership of the asset transfers to the hire purchaser upon payment of the final hire-purchase installment. VAT must be paid in full with the first hire-purchase installment (a pass-through item).

Shipping & Delivery

We ship our goods either via parcel service or via a freight forwarding company, depending on their size, weight and characteristics. We select the shipping method at our reasonable discretion.

The delivery times stated in the online shop are non-binding estimates, unless a binding delivery date has been expressly agreed in writing. They are based on the information available from our manufacturers, suppliers and logistics partners at the time the order is placed.

A large proportion of the products offered are shipped directly from the manufacturer or from external central warehouses (direct shipment). As a result, delivery times may differ from the stated guidelines. In particular, material shortages, production delays, supply bottlenecks, force majeure or other circumstances for which we are not responsible may result in delivery delays.

Disclaimer:

We accept no liability for delivery delays resulting from circumstances beyond our control. This applies in particular to delays caused by manufacturers, upstream suppliers, transport companies or other third parties. Liability for any resulting damages, in particular indirect damages, consequential damages or loss of profit, is excluded to the extent permitted by law.

Partial deliveries are permitted insofar as they are reasonable for the customer. They will not result in additional shipping costs unless otherwise agreed.

The exact delivery time for an item can be provided individually on request, either before or after placing the order.

If significant delivery delays occur, we will inform the customer without undue delay. Mandatory statutory rights of the customer remain unaffected.

Contracor GTC-25 – tungsten carbide Venturi push-in nozzle for blast hose ID 25 mm

The Contracor GTC-25 is a long Venturi push-in nozzle for professional pressure blasting systems. It is inserted directly into a sandblasting hose with a 25 mm internal diameter and does not require a separate threaded nozzle holder.

The wear-resistant nozzle core made of tungsten carbide (TC) is resistant to mechanical stresses and is particularly suitable for mineral abrasives as well as demanding construction site and industrial applications. The long Venturi geometry produces a wide, powerful blast pattern and enables high area coverage.

📌 Notes:
*Actual service life depends heavily on the abrasive, grain size, operating pressure and handling.
**Air volumes are approximate values at a nozzle pressure of 6 bar. Pressure losses and compressor capacity reserve must also be taken into account.

Venturi geometry for high area coverage

The long Venturi bore accelerates the air-abrasive mixture in a controlled manner and produces a wide blast pattern. Compared with a simple straight bore, this can achieve higher area coverage with suitable system performance.

Suitable abrasives
✔ Slag abrasives
✔ Garnet sand
✔ Glass beads
✔ Steel grit and steel shot
✔ Mineral reusable abrasives
✔ Other dry, free-flowing abrasives

For highly aggressive media such as brown fused alumina or silicon carbide, an insert nozzle with a boron carbide core – such as the Contracor GBC – may offer a more economical service life.

Installation

The GTC is inserted into the end of a suitable blasting hose with an internal diameter of 25 mm and securely fixed using the designated attachment. Installation must be carried out in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions. Before every use, check the nozzle, hose and attachment for secure fit, wear and damage.

Typical applications
✔ Rust and paint removal
✔ Surface preparation before coating
✔ Steel, machinery and plant construction
✔ Corrosion protection work
✔ Mobile construction-site applications
✔ Workshop and industrial operations

Maintenance and safety
✔ Measure and check the nozzle bore regularly
✔ Check the nozzle and aluminium jacket for cracks
✔ Check the attachment to the hose before every use
✔ Change the nozzle only when the system is completely depressurized
✔ Replace damaged or heavily worn nozzles immediately
✔ Properly ground the blasting system
✔ Wear the required respiratory and blast protection equipment

FAQ – frequently asked questions

Which blasting hose is the GTC suitable for?
For sandblasting hoses with an internal diameter of 25 mm.

Does the nozzle require a threaded nozzle holder?
No. The GTC is designed as an insert nozzle for direct hose mounting.

Which bore sizes are available?
5.0, 6.5 and 8.0 mm.

What is the difference between the GTC and GBC?
The design and hose size are comparable. The GTC has a tungsten carbide core, while the GBC has a more wear-resistant boron carbide core.

Why does air consumption increase with wear?
Increasing the nozzle bore allows more compressed air to flow out. As a result, nozzle pressure may drop if the compressor does not have sufficient reserve capacity.
