Wetblast Flex wet blasting unit (140 ltr.), complete set with water tank and pump

The Clemco Wetblast Flex is a powerful wet blasting complete system with a 140-liter blast pot, 500-liter water tank, and pneumatic W-92 pump. The controlled addition of water binds a large proportion of the blasting dust, making it suitable for professional cleaning, rust removal, and coating removal. The PT metering valve, quick shut-off, 9.5 mm tungsten carbide nozzle, and 10 m blast hose form a well-matched system. At 6 bar, operation requires approximately 5.0 m³/min of compressed air, plus a capacity reserve.

Leasing & Hire Purchase

We offer the financing options leasing and hire purchase exclusively to businesses, commercial operators and self-employed persons for selected products with a net order value of €1,000 or more. Below you will find the key differences between the two forms of financing.

Leasing

With leasing, the product is made available to the lessee for use in return for regular lease payments. The asset is recognized on the lessor’s balance sheet. Lease payments can generally be claimed as operating expenses for tax purposes. These are gross payments, and VAT is charged throughout the entire term. Once the agreed minimum lease term has expired, purchasing the product is generally possible.

Hire purchase

In economic terms, hire purchase is equivalent to an installment purchase. The product is capitalized on the hire purchaser’s balance sheet and depreciated in accordance with the official depreciation tables. Ownership of the asset transfers to the hire purchaser upon payment of the final hire-purchase installment. VAT must be paid in full with the first hire-purchase installment (a pass-through item).

Shipping & Delivery

We ship our goods either via parcel service or via a freight forwarding company, depending on their size, weight and characteristics. We select the shipping method at our reasonable discretion.

The delivery times stated in the online shop are non-binding estimates, unless a binding delivery date has been expressly agreed in writing. They are based on the information available from our manufacturers, suppliers and logistics partners at the time the order is placed.

A large proportion of the products offered are shipped directly from the manufacturer or from external central warehouses (direct shipment). As a result, delivery times may differ from the stated guidelines. In particular, material shortages, production delays, supply bottlenecks, force majeure or other circumstances for which we are not responsible may result in delivery delays.

Disclaimer:

We accept no liability for delivery delays resulting from circumstances beyond our control. This applies in particular to delays caused by manufacturers, upstream suppliers, transport companies or other third parties. Liability for any resulting damages, in particular indirect damages, consequential damages or loss of profit, is excluded to the extent permitted by law.

Partial deliveries are permitted insofar as they are reasonable for the customer. They will not result in additional shipping costs unless otherwise agreed.

The exact delivery time for an item can be provided individually on request, either before or after placing the order.

If significant delivery delays occur, we will inform the customer without undue delay. Mandatory statutory rights of the customer remain unaffected.

Clemco Wetblast Flex – high-performance complete wet blasting system with a 140-litre blast pot

The Clemco Wetblast Flex is a professional wet blasting unit for large-area cleaning, rust removal and coating removal. Water and abrasive are combined in a controlled manner, binding a large proportion of the dust generated during dry blasting directly at the blast. The system is particularly suitable for construction sites, refurbishment projects, steel and plant construction, as well as locations with increased dust-reduction requirements.

The system combines a 140-litre pressure blast pot with a separate 500-litre water tank, the pneumatic W-92 wet blasting pump and coordinated abrasive and water control. The standard 9.5 mm tungsten carbide nozzle enables high area coverage; the compressor, supply lines and air treatment system must be sized for the required flow rate.

Your advantages
✅ Complete wet blasting system with blast pot, water tank and pump
✅ Significantly reduced dust generation through water addition
✅ 140-litre abrasive container for long operating intervals
✅ 500-litre water tank for mobile applications
✅ Pneumatic W-92 pump without electric drive
✅ PT abrasive metering valve and quick shut-off
✅ 9.5 mm tungsten carbide nozzle and 10 m blast hose

Compressed air consumption Approx. 5.0 m³/min at 6 bar with a 9.5 mm nozzle
Recommended water pressure 2–4 bar
Blast nozzle 9.5 mm, tungsten carbide
Blast hose 10 m

System configuration and scope of delivery

✔ Pressure blast pot with a capacity of 140 litres and pot cover

✔ Water tank with a capacity of 500 litres

✔ Pneumatic W-92 wet blasting pump with filter and pressure control

✔ Dual-function abrasive quick shut-off

✔ HMS water separator

✔ PT abrasive metering valve

✔ 9.5 mm tungsten carbide blast nozzle

✔ 10 m blast hose

Operation and adjustment

The abrasive is metered in the pressure blast pot and transported to the nozzle with the compressed air. The W-92 pumps water from the tank and supplies it to the water feed at the blast head. For a clean blast pattern, the abrasive flow, air pressure and water volume are adjusted together. The aim is sufficient dust suppression without unnecessarily soaking the workpiece.

The optimum water flow rate depends on the surface, abrasive media, coating, working distance and desired result. Before starting, a test area is recommended, especially for concrete, natural stone, sensitive coatings or thin-walled components.

Compressed-air supply and sizing
Nozzle configuration Operating pressure Air requirement Note
9.5 mm 6 bar approx. 5.0 m³/min Also allow for additional compressor reserve
Worn nozzle same target pressure increasing Measure the nozzle orifice regularly

Long hoses, narrow couplings, clogged filters and a worn nozzle increase the required compressor flow rate. The actual operating pressure should be checked as close to the nozzle as possible under full blasting load.

Typical applications

✔ Low-dust removal of rust and coatings

✔ Refurbishment of steel, concrete, stone and façade surfaces after a suitability assessment

✔ Surface preparation before corrosion protection and coating

✔ Cleaning of equipment, containers, vehicles and structures

Safety, maintenance and frost protection

Before carrying out maintenance work, fully depressurize the equipment, shut off the water supply and safely discharge the abrasive media. Regularly check the water circuits, pump, filter, valves, hoses, couplings and nozzle for leaks, deposits and unobstructed flow. Check the nozzle orifice with a nozzle gauge.

After use, flush the water circuits with clean water, drain them completely and allow them to dry. If there is a risk of frost, no water may remain in the pump, lines, fittings or nozzle. Wastewater and dissolved coating residues must be collected in accordance with operational and legal requirements.

FAQ – frequently asked questions

Is the Wetblast Flex a complete system?
Yes. It combines a blast pot, water tank, W-92 pump, metering and shut-off technology, nozzle and blast hose.

How much is dust generation reduced?
Adding water binds a large proportion of the dust. Depending on the application and surface, completely dust-free work may require additional measures.

What compressor capacity is required?
With the standard 9.5 mm nozzle, approximately 5.0 m³/min is required at 6 bar. The compressor should be sized larger to account for line losses and provide reserve capacity.

Can any abrasive media be used?
Only abrasive media suitable for the equipment, metering valve, nozzle and surface, and with the appropriate grain size, may be used.
